    What is Welded Wire Mesh?

    This is a general term for wires that are resistance welded at 90 degree intersections. Welded mesh can be made in rolls or flat panels. There are many applications for welded mesh and therefore they are many types of welded mesh. Dorstener specializes in mesh for industrial applications. We can produce welded mesh in any type of metallic alloy that has the correct properties for welding. We can supply in cut pieces, slit coils or full rolls from stock!
    Welded Stainless Steel Mesh: Dorstener Wire Tech provides welded wire mesh in a wide range of stainless steel alloys.
    • Generally produced in Rolls but can be supplied in sheets or coils.
    • Our maximum width is 80" wide.
    • We produce custom welded mesh with special opening sizes and missing wires to aid in fabrication.
    • We offer welded mesh with various geometric shaped wires (Round, Rectangular, Square, etc.)

    Galvanized Welded Mesh: This product is also known as hardware cloth.
    • This type of product can be produced in galvanized before welding (GBW) or hot dipped galvanized after welding (GAW)
    • Dorstener stocks standard openings such as 1" x 1", ½" x ½" and ¼" x ¼". In addition to these standards we also have many other options to fit your application.
    • Maximum width available is 72" wide.
    • Our unique manufacturing process and specifications allows us to supply welded mesh that is flat without curl.
    • We sell high quality (Grade A) hardware cloth.
